    Friends by Phone (Reassurance)

    Are you 60 years or older? Would you like someone to call you regularly? If so, call 305-292-8445 to enroll in this FREE program.

    HELPLINE's Telephone Reassurance program makes daily calls to elderly and homebound, providing social contact and ensuring their safe welfare, and reminding them of any necessary medications. In addition, HELPLINE offers Family Caregiver Training free of charge to residents of Monroe County who need practical advice about caring for a loved one who is elderly or homebound. HELPLINE also serves the homeless with our hotline and advocacy program.
